Interesting Proof That He Was Sent by God

What was the foundation of the religion in AD 610? What did Moham do to prove he was a profit sent by Allah? What was his evidence? Well, it was this: a large mole in the center of his back. That was considered to be the sign of a prophet even though no mention of the issue is found in the Bible.
Our Savior walked on water and evidenced his divinity
He opened the eyes of the blind so that they saw
He fed five thousand from three little loaves
He walked out of a tomb after three days being dead
But Mohammad had a mole on his back. And therefore, people are willing to blow themselves up and kill innocents in some deluded hope of a paradise promised by a man with a mole on his back. Incredible, to say the least.
When asked about proof that Mohammad was actually called by God to do anything, Muslim leaders point to the Koran and speak of it as a miracle, because it was written by Mohammad who could neither read nor write. This is a very interesting thought considering that Mohammad himself spoke against miracles and said he could not and did not do any.
Staying on the issue of who wrote the Karan, I find it interesting that the second school of thought about its creation (after it being a miracle) was that it was put together by a Caliph who simply organized notes left by Muhammad. This again forgets that he could not read or write, so where did the notes come from?
It is not my intention to make fun of the followers of Mohammad, it is only to show some of the more interesting facts that appear within literature written during his lifetime. Some of the other items you can find in the Qur'an or the Hadith (A record of Mohammad's life and sayings) include the following:
Jews were turned into monkeys for breaking the Sabbath, Allah made a group of boys sleep for 309 years, A Muslim is not allowed to have a dog or a cat, Satan sleeps in the nose overnight, A Muslim may not play chess, A non-Muslim has seven intestines, If you pray with your eyes lifted to heaven, they will be snatched away, Mohammad forgot parts of the Qur'an, Mohammad taught that the sun sets in a muddy pond at night, Mohammad's food would shout praise to Allah as he ate, Satan pees into the ears of those who sleep while praying, Allah won't hear your prayers if you have bad breath, Hell is populated mostly by women, There is no assurance of salvation in Islam, Mohammad was terrified by a solar eclipse, Mohammad was a white man, not a black man, Mohammad married a 6 year old and had sex with her when she was nine years old, Mohammad was a racist who referred to black people as "raisin Heads".
My intention is to provide something to think about. I would also like to point out that when Mohammad was once asked " What is the best deed?" He replied, "To believe in Allah and his apostle" (Mohammad was supposedly his apostle). "What is the next [in goodness]?" He replied, "To participate in Jihad [religious fighting] in Allah's cause.
Contrast Mohammad's answer to Christ, when asked what the greatest commandments were, he responded with "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' This is the first and great commandment, And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself"
I wonder how many have "joined" the Muslim faith without a clue as to what even started it,a mole? I used the word joined in the previous sentence, but very few people actually do. The growth in their religion throughout history has been largely by force or by birth. This a religion of the sword where Muslims angrily wage war on their neighbors taking away every freedom and forcing them to follow their Profit. To the followers of Mohammad that argue that this is a religion of peace, I ask why are your voices largely silent when your "brothers" are killing in the name Jihad?
The source for much of the above came from an Internet site titled "Mohammed's Believe it or else." They have a link to a resource that shows where to find these items in the Qur'an or the Hadith.
This article was started after reading a book written by D. James Kennedy ©2003 titled What If America Were A Christian Nation Again. The book was very worthwhile and I thank God for bringing it to my attention. The part of the book that began my search for more information dealt with the foundation of the Muslim religion on pages 178 & 179.
I wish that the atheist among us would realize, that the only thing standing between them and the Muslim's very oppressive societies, is the Christians and Jews they hate so much.

Top-level comments on this article: (3 total)Your article is interesting, but it seems quite inflammatory to me, which makes me very uncomfortable. I wonder what Jesus Christ would have said about the Muslim faith - I suspect he might have been less judgmental.I will think about your response and consider what I should do. Thank you for taking the time to write.Jennifer I made some changes in the article I wrote, after thinking over your response. I may not have gone far enough and will continue to think about it.
Jihad does not mean religious fighting. Jihad means to fight against your own bad qualities and win over them by siding the good in you. Muslim means, one who has surrendered to the almighty.I would be very interested in looking at where the definitions you report come from. If you can find it in any literature written more than even 100 years ago tell me. I would also like for you to answer this question, if the people blowing themselves up think that jihad means to fight against your own bad qualities why are they so happy to die for jihad? For everyones infomation I am presently working on a project for a hospital in Afganistan.Jeff Downing sir,
Jihad is a very old term and there many Muslims in my country too. A few of them have interpreted the meaning themselves to me and also the renowned Deepak Chopra has researched on Islam and given a better understanding of Jihad. If they are misusing or misinterpreting their scriptures for selfish purposes, we can't do anything about it. So Jihad is being misused.
They are brainwashed in the name of religion. You say they hate Jews and Christians. In India there is tremendous hatred for Hindus as well as Hindus hate Muslims equally for the amount of violence that was started by them during the partition of Indo-Pak. Am not supporting one religion like Hinduism with my statements. But no religion is false Jeff till you find the right interpretation. You could be misinterpreting Christianity too and I could be misinterpreting Hinduism and somebody could be misinterpreting Buddhism.
Frankly speaking, I learned these two terms from people like Deepak Chopra etc. As much as I know, and pray and believe in God, for me, "All Religions Are One". :-)
This 'Jihad' thing is interesting to me, because even President George Bush talked about Jihad being a good thing that we can't allow to be hijacked to mean something bad. Today most Conservatives in America have no clue as to what President Bush was referring to, since 'Jihad' has been used by the religious right as a scare tactic.I think the argument is interesting, but sadly the people blowing themselves up using that word as justification kind of define it for me. Truthfully, if the vast percentage of Muslims would condem the people doing it, I would be less harsh. It is hard to understand why so many stay quiet. The thing is, the vast majority of Muslims do condemn the people doing it, Jeff. Wonder how you missed that?I agree with Bruce. There are vast majority of Muslims in my country who do condemn it and tell me Islam does not profess violence, killing people and blowing yourselves up.

What a crock anyway you look at it. Muslim or Christian. Religion is the biggest waste of time.
There are many, many organizations that reach out and have no religious affiliations.
Anyone who believes a man walked on water, rose from the dead, created miracles, served thousands with a few loafs of bread, etc. etc. should have their head examined.
If you did any honest research you would know that Christ (Sun God), the 3 wise men, the virgin, Dec 25th, 12 disciples, etc. are nothing more than astrological metaphors. Christ was about as real as Tolkien's Gandolf.
